Who operates this site
Fortline is a service of Searchlight Law PC, a California professional law corporation. This policy explains how Searchlight Law PC handles information collected through the Fortline website.
Information we collect
If you request a consultation, we collect the name and contact information you provide and, if you choose to upload it, a copy of your PAGA notice. We may also collect basic technical information needed to operate and protect the site, such as request timestamps, browser type, and security-event information.
How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to your consultation request, identify possible conflicts, evaluate whether we can assist, secure the site, and comply with legal and professional obligations. We do not sell personal information or use a submitted notice for advertising.
Service providers and disclosure
We may use service providers to host the site, store submitted files, prevent abuse, and deliver notifications. They may process information only to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights, or with your direction.
Text-message privacy
If you text PAGA to the Fortline text line, we collect your phone number, message content, delivery and consent records, and related messaging metadata. We use that information to provide the requested acknowledgment, respond about your inquiry and consultation logistics, honor opt-out and help requests, prevent abuse, and meet legal and carrier requirements.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won't be shared with any third parties.
Vendors that transmit or support messages may process this information only on behalf of Searchlight Law PC to provide the text service. They may not use it for their own marketing. We do not sell or share text-message consent or opt-in data for another party's marketing.
Retention and security
We retain consultation information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above and applicable professional or legal obligations. We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect submitted information, but no Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Cookies and browser signals
The site may use essential cookies or similar technology needed for security and operation. We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals. We do not knowingly permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across unaffiliated sites through this website.
Your choices and contact
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you submitted, subject to legal and professional obligations. The Fortline business and verification contact is parth@fortlinelaw.com. Privacy requests may be sent to privacy@fortlinelaw.com. We may update this policy and will post the effective date of the current version here.
